Antonis Gogorosis was born in 1977 in Athens.

During the period 1991-96 he competed at the professional level in Athletics, having several distinctions.

In 1998 he completed his military service in Special Forces and in 2002 he graduated from the Public IEK of Nikaia with specialty in Medical Radiotherapy Devices.

He has worked professionally for many years as a private employee in many companies, some of them multinational.

In 2003, he started training in martial arts, starting with the internal Chinese martial art, Tai Chi Chuan (Chen style), in which he still trains regularly.

He has been practicing Aikido since 2006, with his first teachers being Alevizos Alevizos and Angeliki Manta at the Mushindokan Aikido Dojo in Metamorfosi, Attica.

His interest in the art focuses on deepening the notion of the life-giving sword, as opposed to the concept of a life-taking weapon.

Currently, he holds the rank of 3rd Dan Aikikai.
